Here's a great old instrument that has been played a lot but extremely well maintained. It's all original minus a couple of changed/uprgraded parts. (originals included) The closer you look you discover that this thing has tons of MOJO! It's a great weight and is so comfortable to play. It sounds exactly as it looks and plays great.

The frets have plenty of miles left. The body and neck have some finish wear but with no cracks in the wood, even the common problem that you see at the high e side of the tailpiece typically because of the original "too short" bushings. Which were replaced at some point with the proper 1" bushings. There are some dings in the wood and plenty of natural finish wear but no cracks. This baby is solid.
It has a fresh set of Stringjoy Broadway 10's and it's red2go!
Mods/Upgrades
- Short original tailpiece bushings replaced with the proper 1" at some point
- Music City Bridge "Stud Finder" and the original bridge is in the case. (see closeup pics without strings)
- Pro re-fret at some point (Average measurement is @ 0.07” wide and 0.027” tall.)
- New Tuning Machines to preserve originals. There was no routing of the peg holes. The original tuners and buttons come with. (see pics)
- Original nut has three extra nut slots for the G,B,& E. Perhaps from a high strung/mando idea at some point...who knows? Kinda cool
- There seems to be a small touch up spot on the bare mahogany on the top by the 17th fret near the strap button. Perhaps a black marker? (see pics)
