This extremely vibey Fender Jazzmaster from 1963 is a treat to have in the shop. It is completely original and sounds so good. The pickups have a strong and clear sound and we love the 2nd position tones!  We love the neck contour and starts from a typical slim early sixties to pretty chunky profile.  The neck is in great shape and is set pretty straight with a slight relief.  The Brazilian board and clay inlays are in great shape.

Obviously there is real honest wear on the body. There is even the common coiley cable scar on the back of the upper cutaway from being left in the case.  You can see the stain in the case as well.  Remember kids, always wrap your cables up neatly.

The guard is on fire in a few places and is in great condition. The shrinking has been minimal but hasn't caused any significant problems. It is a little bit snug around the pickups, (still adjustable), and there are a couple places where edge of the guard is slightly wavy (see pics).

The frets have been well played in but evenly and still have a few miles on them. They may need some attention at some point especially if you are a big bender.  However, it still plays and sounds great as is.  The nut appears to be original but repositioned a little towards the low E side. (see pics) It's stable and plays great.

It comes with the instructional manual and bridge cover as well.
