1969 Gibson ES 345-TD "Kirk Fletcher" Sunburst
1969 Gibson ES 345-TD "Kirk Fletcher" Sunburst
Here we have a really cool 1969 ES 345 owned and played by the one of the greatest guitar players in the world and a true blues expert Mr. Kirk Fletcher. If you love the blues, check out Kirk, learn it's origins and evolution to keep it alive.
With a recent professionally added stop tail and fret job, this beauty is RED2GO...that means it's great.
There's no volute and a healthy pair of original PATENT# T Top pickups and original potentiometers that sound great. This one has a nice chunky neck (see below) The nut width is just between the era specific 1 9/16" and the earlier 1 11/16" and the depth tapers up nicely. The nut has been shimmed and functions great.
The look? I mean come on... perfect finish checking and player wear all add up to one word...RULING!
