Here we have a really great sounding "Esquire" that has been played on the road for years by the one and only Rick Holmstrom. This killer guitar started its life as a custom order 58 NOS Esquire from Fender's Custom Shop. The original neck has been replaced with an after market baked maple/rosewood board neck of Rick's choice with a nice soft "V" profile. The pickups are hand wound by Josefina Campos in 2015 and labeled Wildwood 10, 58 staggered and Twisted T. They sound great! Notice the low reading on the neck pickup is a little lower than usually seen on these and we're not sure exactly why. However, it still sounds great and matches well with the bridge.
